We are very excited to announce that the work for the new kitchen has started. The old kitchen has been ripped out and damp proofing and installation are now in place. New electrics, plumbing, and secondary window glazing are almost finished and the first coat of paint is on the newly plastered walls. All the units have arrived and aim to start being installed the week of 13th January 2025. A huge thank you goes to the Asda Foundation who donated an amazing £25000 towards the building work and the Clothworkers Foundation who wonderfully gave £30700 towards the units and appliances. Other donations have come from the Foyle Foundation and a generous legacy gift. Without their generosity, this kitchen would have remained just a dream.
