Express Yourself is an inclusive four-and-a-half-day creative programme for any young person, culminating in a celebratory performance inspired by the concept of a catwalk fashion show.

Working alongside industry professionals, participants will explore music, drama, movement, and visual arts to develop confidence, creativity, and self-expression. Activities will encourage young people to explore their identity and showcase their unique strengths, interests, and talents in ways that suit their individual access needs.

The traditional catwalk will be reimagined as an accessible and inclusive performance space, where participants can choose how they engage. Young people may take part through movement, sound, costume design, visual arts, performance, or a range of supporting creative roles behind the scenes.

The project aims to foster creativity, build confidence, and create a strong sense of belonging. Most importantly, it provides positive opportunities for young people to be seen, celebrated, and valued as artists, performers, and creative contributors.
