Twocan Theatre Summer School 2017
Children In Need and the University of Gloucestershire funded 13 Young people to come together to create a performance about what makes them happy. The group worked for a week with professional theatre makers Nicola Miles-Wildin, Chyla Young, Louise Partridge and Becky Allen to devise their own piece and then performed it in front of an audience made up of many family and friends.
The work encouraged creative and independent thinking and was as much about working with other liked minded people as it was about producing a piece of theatre. Creative storytelling was heavily included in their work with a fantastic signed rendition of ‘Shake It Off’ by Taylor Swift too.
