Freak Show was the Gloucestershire Secondary School s Tour in partnership Cheltenham Everyman Theatre, funded by The Heritage Lottery Fund,
This piece of theatre in education was made available for up to 12 Gloucestershire schools in February 2014. TwoCans’ original piece explored the attitudes towards disability, focusing on whether the Victorian freak Show is really a thing of the past.
“TIE can be a bit hit and miss. This was certainly a hit. It was fantastic for the students to see actors with disabilities performing as it made them realise that there really is no reason to treat anyone differently because of a disability. The education pack will be very useful for follow up work in General Studies lessons.”
